Traditional Calligraphy Criticism and Literary Rhetoric: The Theory and Practice of Seeking Synaesthesia in Written Expression
The literary expression of the aesthetics and criticism of traditional calligraphy is a common phenomenon in ancient book theory. Among them, literary rhetoric such as the book power, book fu, book review, book inscription, and book praise of the Han and Tang Dynasties is particularly prominent. Phenomenon was passed down to future generations for the sake of art and literature, not for the book. However, these stylistic articles, with their gorgeous algae decoration, linked literary images such as heaven and earth, human physics and physics with calligraphy, and gave them meaning of life. As a result, they became the enlightenment of calligraphy aesthetics and criticism. . As a scholar who is immersed in the calligraphy style of the Han and Jin dynasties, his values are distinct from those of the scholars in the Han dynasty and those who are based on the scholars. As for the background of ancient book theory and the choice of literary rhetoric, there are many deeper cultural, social, and conceptual reasons. Sense also changed from mysterious and inexplicable to plain and easy to understand and easy to practice. The article looks at ancient book theory from a unique perspective, affirming the important role of literary rhetoric in the aesthetics and criticism of traditional calligraphy, and expanding the field of contemporary calligraphy academic research.
